During a recent family vacation to Disney World with my husband, our almost-three-year-old son “E” , and my parents, we decided to purchase the MemoryMaker, which gave us unlimited access to all of our PhotoPass Photos taken throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Photographs are always an important part of our vacation, but they were really important this time because it was E’s first time and also my mom’s first time since the early days of Disney World and my dad’s first visit. We wanted to capture all of the exciting moments!
One of the main activities in Disney World is riding the rides! It’s pretty hard to take your own photos while flying through space or hunting ancient dinosaurs. Fortunately, Disney takes care of this!

Twelve of Disney World’s attractions are outfitted with cameras:
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Dinosaur
- Expedition Everest
- Frozen Ever After
- Pirates Of The Caribbean
- Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Test Track
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
During the attraction, the cameras snap a photo and some of the attractions even automatically upload the photo via your MagicBand. Others require that you tap your MagicBand at the photo station after the conclusion of the ride.
Whether you have the MemoryMaker or not, as long as you’re wearing your MagicBand, you will get these photos on your MyDisneyExperience account. If you have the MemoryMaker, you can get unlimited digital downloads!

We are really glad we got the MemoryMaker because I have record of E’s first rollercoaster ride, which included three generations (me, my dad, and my son), and some attractions I rode with my dad. These are priceless souvenirs!
Is MemoryMaker a good deal?
