Disney continues to make progress in enhancing the EPCOT entrance experience. They have put up the new Leave a Legacy display, updated the fountain, installed flag poles, and installed new lighting effects.
Now, they are getting ready to put new lights on the outside of Spaceship Earth.
Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley, who has often posted about the changes at EPCOT on his Instagram account, provided a photo of the new lights being tested on Spaceship Earth:

The testing and eventual installation will be a part of the resort’s 50th anniversary “Beacons Of Magic” installation. Here is the concept art for Spaceship Earth, where you can see the lights where the triangular panels meet.
