Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley is once again giving us a preview of the upcoming changes to EPCOT in his Instagram account.
EPCOT’s new Creations Shop, which replaces Mouse Gear, will include artwork inspired by Mickey Mouse. It will showcase a Mickey mural as well as a series of Mickey sculptures titled “Mouse as Muse.” Each sculpture is one of a kind and stands 26 inches tall.
The sculptures will be on permanent display in EPCOT and are different from the Fab 50 statues celebrating the resort’s 50th Anniversary.
The first sculpture pays tribute to Walt’s original concept for EPCOT as a working city – a prototype community of tomorrow.
