Disney has announced the replacement for The Wave restaurant on the first floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Steakhouse 71 will open on October 1, 2021 – a busy day at Walt Disney World, when the resort will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a host of grand openings, including Harmonious and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT and Disney Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom.
Steakhouse 71 will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a family-friendly atmosphere.
While kids will get to select from favorites like Mickey waffles and cheeseburgers, adults will be able to enjoy adult beverages prepared and selected by mixologists and sommeliers.
The design of the restaurant will be reminiscent of the sleek stylings of the 1970s with a Florida flair – including appearances by Orange Bird and citrus groves.
