A favorite part of my Saturday morning live Disney park broadcasts is when folks discuss their favorite rides and attractions in the comments. Now World of Walt fans have a chance to pick the best attraction at Walt Disney World and settle the debate once and for all!
I’m excited to announce that we’re partnering again with Not Your Mother’s Goose for the all-new “Tournament of Rides presented by World of Walt.” Like the previous Tournament of Villains, the Tournament of Rides is a March Madness-style tournament that will whittle a field of 40 Disney attractions down to one champion.
A “selection committee” of Disney fans voted to select the field (I got a ballot, and an 11-year-old and 6-year-old voted to break any the ties!), seeding sixteen attractions from Magic Kingdom and eight each from Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
The #1 seeds went to the Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train, Soarin’, Rise of the Resistance, and Avatar Flight of Passage, with other worthy competitors lining up to take their shots at the crown. Of course, just like March Madness, a few worthy competitors didn’t quite make the cut (No Carousel of Progress!! How?!?) and will have to wait until next time for their shot. Full brackets for all four parks are available here.

Voting is underway with the first round at Magic Kingdom. Each voting round will only last one week, with Epcot and Hollywood Studios up next, so check back often.
