Starting on March 11, 2022, Disney Cruise Line will make face coverings optional in most indoor locations. This is based on the most recent guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Impact on Children
Guests who are 5 years old or younger, and are therefore not eligible for vaccination, must wear face coverings in Youth Activities spaces and in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
Exceptions
Guests who are 2 or older, including those fully vaccinated, must wear a face-covering in the Walt Disney Theatre.
Disney requires that masks be worn in the cruise terminal during boarding, screening, and disembarkation.
Local governments, including some areas of Castaway Cay, may require face-coverings in ports of call.
Disney continues to recommend, but not require, that all guests wear face-0coverings in all other indoor locations.
