Disney World has set aside 80 acres of its property to create a new affordable housing development. The company expects the development, located on the southwest corner of Disney property near Flamingo Crossing, to include retail, dining, and 1,300 housing units that will be constructed by a third-party affordable housing developer.
Qualifying applicants, including Cast Members, will eventually be able to live in the development.
