Have you ever wondered what happens to all of the coins that are tossed in Cinderella’s Wishing Well and the many other fountains and waterways throughout Walt Disney World Resort? From time to time, those coins are fished out of the water and donated to charity. Give Kids The World Village was the recent recipient of a whopping $30,000!
Give Kids The World Village was established in 1986, providing a place where wish kids and their families could come play, laugh and make memories, while they temporarily escape the harsh reality of hospital visits and medical treatments and procedures.

Pam Landwirth is the President and CEO of Give Kids The World Village. She reports the program recently received a $500,000 grant, which along with the generous donation of $30,000, will go a long way in making dreams come true for the wish kids and their families who visit the Village.
This is just one of the many ways Disney is giving back to magic makers in the Central Florida community during the 50th Anniversary celebration.
Glad that Disney generously supports local non-profits?
