Journey of Water Inspired by Moana is a new attraction that has been under construction in EPCOT for some time now. While we still don’t have an official open date, the good news is that progress is being made behind those construction walls.
While most of the rocks are just their mesh base right now, there are rocks on the longest structure that are starting to look more realistic. Some of the rocks sticking out from under scaffolding are now painted a solid grey. In addition, some smaller rock structures have been shaped around support poles.
It may not seem like much, but it’s fun to see this progress being made on a large-scale project that will highlight a very beloved Disney movie, Moana.
When it’s finished, Journey of Water inspired by Moana will be an attraction where guests can interact with whimsical, living water in a beautiful and educational setting. Journey of Water will consist of an interactive walk-through environment that engages and educates guests about the water cycle and how it sustains our world.
