Disney Imagineering Posts Photos Of TRON Canopy Lighting Test

Walt Disney World Imagineering has posted three photos on its Instagram account of nighttime canopy testing for the new TRON / Lightcycle Run attraction being built in the Tomorrowland section of the Magic Kingdom.

We learned that Disney has called the huge, curving, white canopy the Upload Conduit.

The TRON coaster cycles will pass beneath 1,200 lights in the canopy, which features hexagon-patterned shapes. Disney plans to add more elements to the lighting in the near future.
