Sources are reporting that Disney World has canceled its plans for a high-speed train station at Disney Springs.
The original Brightline plan was to set to connect the Orlando International Airport directly to a station at Disney World before traveling on to Tampa. Local businesses asked Brightline to also connect the route through International Drive and Universal Orlando before going to Disney World.
It appears that Disney may not have liked the change and no longer plans to be a part of the route, according to reports quoting a Disney representative.
