Yesterday we learned that Walt Disney World was not going to build a Brightline train station at Disney Springs, most likely because Brightline was planning to include a new station on International Drive to provide access to Universal Orlando Resort and other non-Disney attractions.
Today, Brightline announced that they would build a new station themselves that will be near Disney Springs, but not on Disney property.
It seems that Brightline still wants to serve the market of people traveling to Disney World, even if the Disney Company will not allow the station on its property.
