The 50th Anniversary Celebration will be coming to a close in the not-too-near future.
Walt Disney World has officially announced the end of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, which began on October 1, 2021. Walt Disney World turned 50 on October 1st and guests have arrived in record numbers for the 18-month-long celebration.
Up until now, Disney has only officially stated that the celebration would last until March 2023. We all assumed that meant March 31st, 2023, would mark the end of the celebration. Disney has just confirmed by stating that March 31, 2023, will be the exact date that the 50th-anniversary celebration concludes.
While we don’t know all the details of what exactly will be discontinued that day and beyond, it is very likely we will see the end of the special 50th entertainment, costumes, food and beverage offerings, and decorations.
