Way back in December 2019, EPCOT announced that it would add a new adventure with characters from Disney’s DuckTales. Since then, Disney fans have not much about this project and thought the game was canceled.
Turns out it wasn’t.
Today, Kartika Rodriguez, EPCOT Vice President, announced that guests will be able to join Scrooge McDuck, Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Launchpad, and Webby to search for treasure with the Play Disney Parks mobile app. The game will open sometime in 2022, although Disney didn’t announce a specific opening date.
