Nothing says spooky like the Haunted Mansion and now you can find some incredible chocolate creations celebrating all of the Haunted Mansion’s spookiness at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Located in the lobby are two large chocolate creations that highlight a couple of our favorite parts of the Haunted Mansion. The first one you see is an ode to one of Haunted Mansion’s residents – Contance Hatchaway. Constance is the bride who lives in the mansion and infamously killed all five of her husbands by removing their heads. On this gorgeous chocolate display, you can see the hatchet used for such nefarious purposes, as well as the five pearl necklaces she wears to commemorate each marriage.
Next to this glorious ode to Constance is an amazing replica of the hearse that is parked outside of the Haunted Mansion. The hearse is decorated with roses and candles. The trim and outer sections of the hearse have an amazing level of detail, with ornate molding and a wicker texture added to the edible display.
The chocolatiers even gave a nod to “Hocus Pocus” with this display by giving the candles black flames.
