Dust off those running shoes, grab your buddies, and get set for some fun during the 2023 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. The event takes place April 13-16, 2023, and is the final event in the 2022-2023 runDisney race season. The theme the races for this event is celebrating the power of friendship combined with the magic of Pixar with the Pixar Pals.
Racers are encouraged to show their appreciation to the running buddies who keep them motivated, support systems that cheer them on from the sidelines, and the iconic characters that lift each other up repeatedly.
Here is a first look at the event’s finisher medals that will help motivate you to cross the finish line.
Lightning McQueen, Mater, and all their friends will cheer you on, whether aiming for a leisurely jog or a personal record. You are SPEED!
Mike, Sulley, and the gang from the world of Monstropolis will be on hand through the 6.2-mile course. Canisters will increase in capacity at each mile marker as racers step in the “fright” direction.
Next up is the 10-mile event with Buzz, Woody, Bo Peep, and more encouraging racers to push themselves to infinity and … the finish line!
Racers with the perseverance and determination to complete the trio of weekend events will be awarded this super cool medal featuring Nemo and his friends from under the sea.
