New additions are coming to Disney’s Boardwalk. Already home to multiple culinary updates in 2022, most notably the opening of Boardwalk Deli, we’re excited to bring you some delicious updates that your taste buds are going to love.
Let’s take a look starting with a new coffee shop that will soon open on the Boardwalk. Carousel Coffee will feature Artisan Roasted Joffrey’s Coffee in a variety of tasty sips. Mouthwatering pastries and tea options will join the lineup for your tasting pleasure. Carousel Coffee is sure to become the new go-to-spot for guests.
The full menu should be available in the coming weeks but a sneak peek at a couple items are ready to tempt you now. Check out this Dark Cherry Mocha Frozen Blended Coffee and Whipped Cream and cool down with the iconic cherry flavor well-known in seaside spots.
Or maybe you’re a fan of cinnamon buns? This Cinnamon Bun Frozen Blended Coffee with Whipped Cream is dusted with cinnamon spice and the smell will stir up memories of days-gone-by as you stroll the Boardwalk.
The Nitro Cold Brew Coffee is extra smooth, dark-roasted cold brew coffee infused with nitro. This beverage features the rich history of coffee combined with nitro cold brews of today.
Not a coffee lover? Carousel Coffee has got you covered with tea-lover options, too. The Pomegranate-Green Tea Lemonade blends freshly-squeezed lemon juice with pomegranate green tea and just a touch of agave. The drink is naturally sweetened and served over ice for a cool and refreshing sip.
Enough sips … now, let’s explore some of the sweets coming to Carousel Coffee. The Crunchy Raspberry Danish features crispy sugar dough layers with hibiscus fondant and raspberry. It’s sort of like a croissant and muffin combined! Other classic treats to tempt you are the Vintage Mickey and Minnie Sugar Cookie, Banana Bread, Croissant, Blueberry Muffin, Chocolate Muffin, NJ Crumb Cake, and bagels. It goes without saying that a Mickey Brownie will be available at this Disney location.
Carousel Coffee isn’t the only new spot coming to Disney’s Boardwalk in 2023. Construction has begun at The Cake Bake Shop which is scheduled to open in 2023. We recently shared conceptual art for The Cake Bake Shop, giving you an idea of just how pretty the shop will be. As you walk past the spot you will get a glimpse of some of the delicious dishes that will be on hand once it opens. This restaurant is owned by Gwendolyn Rogers, a self-taught baker with a love for Disney and obviously cakes!
Once open, the menu for this sweet spot will feature both savory and sweet items and, of course showcase the incredible cakes created by Gwendolyn and her team for brunch, lunch, and dinner. An elegant afternoon tea service will be offered in addition to the regular menu. Both table-service offerings and a quick-service bakery for picking up yummy delights on the go will be available.
The restaurant and bakery will serve cookies, French macarons, brownies, dessert bars, pies, and cheesecakes in addition to handmade cakes. The fanciful mood of The Cake Bake Shop and all the tasty treats it will offer is sure to be a charming addition to the Boardwalk.
