New eateries will be popping up all over Walt Disney World during 2023. Whether you enjoy comfort food, food with a little spice, sweet and savory goodies, or California-inspired menus, there is something for everyone in these arriving-soon dining spots. Let’s take a look at what is in the works.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Roundup Rodeo BBQ opening is highly anticipated and despite years of delays, it looks like Walt Disney World Resort Guests will soon be able to visit the world’s first Toy Story table service restaurant. Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Rex, Zurg, and Trixie, along with other fan-favorite pals from the popular Pixar movie franchise will surround guests at this one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Achieved by the collaboration of Disney Imagineers, Disney Pixar Animation Studios, and Walt Disney World Food & Beverage, the restaurant is projected to be a place for honorary toys to enjoy barbecue-inspired comfort foods. Food will be served family-style, with platters of house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, and some miniature sweet surprises along the way.
Disney officials have yet to announce an opening date to look forward to, but it is scheduled for sometime in the spring of 2023. It promises to be great fun for the young and the young at heart to enjoy a delicious meal in this great new eatery.

Rosa Mexicano at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort
The flavor of authentic Mexican cuisine is coming to Walt Disney World as Rosa Mexicano is slated to open at the Swan and Dolphin Resort. This will be the first Rosa Mexicano location to open in Florida, but there are popular locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and Connecticut. It seems only fitting that Florida’s first location will wind up in Disney World!

The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk
If it’s sweets you are craving, you won’t need to look any further than Disney’s Boardwalk! The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers is bringing loads of delicious cakes, cookies, pies, macarons, coffee, croissants, and more. The whimsical atmosphere of the bakery will complement the idyllic charm of Disney’s Boardwalk. Inside you’ll find displays lined with handmade cakes that are unique in beauty and taste. No opening has been announced yet for The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers.

Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs
Disney Springs will also see a new restaurant in 2023. Summer House on the Lake will bring sunshine all year round. With locations in Chicago, IL., and North Bethesda, MD, Disney World in Orlando is the perfect location to welcome the never-ending summer.
The California-inspired menu, led by Chef Ben Goodnick, features simple ingredients from local grower partnerships and sustainable products. Rosé is poured all day off the signature Rosé Cart. Handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine list will bring bright and airy vibes to fill the atmosphere. No opening date has been officially announced for Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs.
