During an earnings call today, Disney noted that it will increase capital expenditures by 20%, from $1 billion to $1.2 billion. Much of this is due to spending more in the Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution division, as well as Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products division.
The Parks increase is primarily driven to cruise ship fleet expansion. This could refer to the new cruise ship still being finished as well as the unfinished Global Dream ship that Disney purchased.
