Just in time for the launch of 2024 bookings for theme park tickets, Walt Disney World announced updates to Disney Resort hotel stays and packages. The updates are projected to make planning future Walt Disney World visits easier and more enjoyable, so you can further enjoy all that Disney has to offer.
Beginning in January 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. While the date-based tickets will no longer require a park pass reservation in 2024, non-dated tickets, such as Annual Passes will still require reservations most of the time.
The ability to enter the parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation (except for Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays) will still be in place. The new “good-to-go” days will be in addition to the current system. The days will be added on an ongoing basis and will not negate applicable blockout dates.
More details will be released in the future. We’ll keep you updated as new information is released.
Glad that park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets?
