After-Hours Events are Coming Back in 2024

Are you a night owl? Then an after-hours event may be the perfect fit for you and your family.

After Hours events are returning to Walt Disney World Resort with plenty of after-dark delights starting Jan. 10 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Jan. 11 at Magic Kingdom Park, and Feb. 2 at EPCOT.

These popular separately ticketed events are a great time to do a ton in a short amount of time. The capacity is limited, meaning you’ll have less time in lines and more time enjoying all the rides. You’ll also see some of your favorite characters and have all of the snacks you want to keep your energy going into the wee hours of the night.

Let’s look at what each park is offering.

Magic Kingdom
  • After-hours events will run on select nights from Jan. 11 through April 8, 2024.
  • The time of the event will be 10 pm – 1 am.
  • You can enjoy more than 20 attractions and experiences including the thrilling new TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Jungle Cruise.
  • The nighttime fireworks spectacular, “Enchantment” will return exclusively to Disney After Hours events at Magic Kingdom Park – meaning on event nights, early arrivals will have the opportunity to see both “Happily Ever After” and “Enchantment!”

Hollywood Studios
  • After-hours events will run on select nights from Jan. 10 through April 10, 2024.
  • The time of the event will be 10 pm – 1 am.

All after-hours park events offer the ability to enter the park at 7 pm, letting you enjoy a bit more of the magic before the after-hours event even begins.

Booked guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting Nov. 7, 2023. Event tickets can be purchased online by all guests starting Nov. 14.
