Mr. Iger first announced that Disney had “sequels in the works” for “Frozen,” “Toy Story,” and “Zootopia” in February 2023. Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, and the writer/co-director of the first two films, Jennifer Lee confirmed that she is currently working on “Frozen 3.”

At the World of Frozen event, Mr. Iger hinted that “there might be a Frozen 4 in the works too” and later added that Lee is working on “not one, but actually two stories.”

The first “Frozen” film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre on November 19, 2013. It was released in U.S. theaters on November 27 and proved to be a huge success for Disney. “Frozen II” was released in 2019, with Buck and Lee still spearheading the project.

Excited to learn there are plans for developing “Frozen 3” and “Frozen 4?”
