On April 17, 2024, Disney invited the Chase family to be among the first to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World before it opens this summer.
During this moment:
- Disney presented Stella Chase Reese with the Walt Disney World Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction poster.
- Stella wore a hard hat and became an honorary Imagineer.
- Disney gave Leah Chase Jr., Stella’s sister, a framed photo from the recording session where she lent her voice to some of the attraction’s music.
- Walt Disney World Ambassadors invited the family to be some of the first to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Leah Chase Sr., former owner of Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans and mother of Stella and Leah Jr., served as one of the inspirations for the character of Princess Tiana in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog” and later for the development of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
