Meet Santa Claus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Over the past several years, you would have caught a glimpse of Kris Kringle waving to guests as he cruised the waterways of Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the holiday cavalcades. This year, you can meet Santa Claus at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the patio at Restaurantosaurus. He will invite everyone to join him in this festive new location to celebrate the season in (pre)-historic fashion from November 12 to December 24. Be sure to bring the entire family because a Santa sighting will be exciting for the little ones!
Other Wild Ways to Celebrate the Holidays
Another holiday tradition at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the return of the Merry Menagerie. These enchanting puppets can be found on Discovery Island and feature winter animals of all sorts.
If goes without saying that you can meet the festive holiday hosts, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, dressed in their seasonal finest attire together at Adventures Outpost.
After a full day of shopping for those on your gift list, be sure to stop by after dark for sensational, seasonal Tree of Life Awakenings that bring the spirits of winter animals to life.
Fresh Festive Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Holiday Studios will be alive with the spirit of the season with its adorable retro holiday decorations. This year, three new entertainment acts have been added to fill the whole family with joy, starting November 12. Days and show times to catch the new acts can be found on My Disney Experience.
First up, marvel at the skills of Juggling Elves. Festive cheer will be abundant as the holiday helpers show off their skills of juggling, comedy, and more.
To immerse you in the holiday spirit, the Holiday Spirit Band will be filled with jolly tunes. This festive brass group will tempt your entire party to join in the fun!
Hard-hitting horns, rocking drummers, and dazzling dancers will come together with Seasons Jukebox, bringing all the performance and pep of a collegiate marching band. Pick up your feet and march along to everyone’s favorite holiday classics and more!
Holiday fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets underway on November 12, along with the holiday overlay to For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along-Celebration. You’ll also be able to find Santa greeting guests at It’s A Wonderful Shop; and Sunset Seasons Greetings. Keep your eyes peeled for festive projections on The Hollywood Tower Hotel and magical snowfall – all along Sunset Boulevard once the sun sets.
