Disney Announces New Lightning Lane Premier Pass

There’s a new way to get all your rides in, but it’s going to cost you a pretty penny.

In just a few short weeks, starting on Oct 30, 2024, Disney World is piloting a new skip-the-line option for some of its guests. These limited-quantity passes will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels. Those guests will have the option to purchase the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass for their visit.

How Lightning Lane Premier Pass Will Work

Guests who purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will receive a one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day—including the most in-demand attractions such as Tiana’s Bayou Adventures, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. A Lightning Lane Premier Pass will provide entrance to all Lightning Lane experiences (both Multi-pass and Single-pass) in one park.

Guests will not need to select or reserve a time, they can walk up to whichever attraction in the park that they bought the pass for at whatever time is convenient for them, and walk right onto the ride. This option will help guests have more flexibility in their park days.

Finally, guests who purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will enjoy photo perks, including digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos as well as Disney PhotoPass Lenses.

How Much Will Lightning Lane Premier Pass Cost?

The pass prices will vary between parks and by date and demand. The price will range from between $129 per person and $449 per person. According to Disney, the price ranges are as follows:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $129-$199 plus tax
  • EPCOT: $169-$249 plus tax
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $269-$349 plus tax
  • Magic Kingdom: $329-$449 plus tax

The new passes can be purchased up to seven days in advance of Disney World stays. Regular park admission is still required to enter the parks, and the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be an additional optional charge.
