Located along the tranquil shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the new Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is set to open on December 17. The new tower celebrates the spirit of the Polynesian Islands along with our favorite wayfinder, Moana.
The waterfront expansion will be a new “home” for Disney Vacation Club members and guests and features 260 beautifully designed rooms, stunning interior spaces, and brand-new amenities.
This spectacular, new Disney Vacation Club addition will join more than 25 resort hotels located at Walt Disney World Resort. Accommodations with breathtaking views have been designed for both small and large groups.
Vibrant Villas for Families of Different Sizes with Breathtaking Views.

If your group is small, you can enjoy a cozy duo studio for two or perhaps a deluxe studio that sleeps up to four.
Need more space? One—and two-bedroom villas, sleeping five and nine, respectively, are perfect for larger groups. They feature a full kitchen, comfortable living area, outdoor patio, and a washer and dryer.

Two-bedroom penthouse villas, which can sleep up to eight guests, are also located in the new tower. They offer a spacious living room and dining room and stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses.
Escape in the Terrace Gardens
Four tropical garden hideaways, inspired by the lush beauty of the Polynesian Islands, are exclusively for guests and members staying in the tower. Each space boasts unbeatable views of Walt Disney World Resort.

To view the Magic Kingdom fireworks you can choose between two Terrace Gardens facing the park. Witness sensational sunsets from the other two gardens over Disney’s scenic golf courses.

Finding the Way…to More Play
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has always been a guest favorite with close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, playful swimming pools, and beloved restaurants. Hold onto your hat because now the tower will add some incredible new features.

The brand-new Cove Pool area features a zero-entry swimming pool along with “Moana’s Voyage,” a splash area for the little ones with life-size sculptures of Moana and her iconic canoe. The resort’s one and only fitness center will also make its home in the new tower, and is sure to be a welcome addition to the many recreational activities offered there today.

Treat Yourself at Wailulu Bar & Grill
What to do if you get hungry? Well, a flavorful journey awaits at Wailulu Bar & Grill, the tower’s new casual dining spot. Drawing inspiration from the rich flavors of the Polynesian islands, the Wailulu menu will be open all day offering delicious signature dishes like spice ham musubi and beef short rib loco loco.

The Wailulu Bar & Grill will be the perfect spot for lunch or dinner while you savor breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon. It’s also an ideal location for those looking for a new spot to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks!
The Island Tower expansion will be staffed by nearly 1,600 resort cast members, including a few who started at the Polynesian in the 1970s, ready to welcome you home.
The Walt Disney World Island Tower offers families another great option when vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth. So many new and future experiences await!
