Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a construction permit, signifying the green light for the installation of new set elements at the Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in anticipation of the upcoming “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” show.
“Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” will replace the long-running show “It’s Tough to be a Bug” in the Tree of Life Theater. First teased at Destination D23 two years ago, the new show will include a fresh original song, performed by Ginnifer Goodwin, the voice of Judy Hopps.
“It’s Tough to be a Bug” will permanently close after March 15, 2025.
“Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” is projected to open in winter of 2025, close to the November release date of “Zootopia 2.”
