Walt Disney World is bringing back a popular after-hours perk to Magic Kingdom in August 2025, giving certain hotel guests extra time to soak up the nighttime magic. This offering comes after a series of evening events at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom earlier in the summer.
Guests staying at select Disney resorts will once again have the chance to enjoy Magic Kingdom’s attractions under the stars — but only on select dates.
Evening Perk Moves Between Parks
Throughout June and July, extended evening hours are rotating between Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In June, Magic Kingdom hosts these events on Wednesday nights from 10 p.m. to midnight, while EPCOT offers its after-hours perk on Monday evenings from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
In July, Magic Kingdom takes a short break from the lineup. During that month, EPCOT continues its Monday evening schedule and Disney’s Animal Kingdom steps in on Wednesday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This shift gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the parks in new ways after regular operating hours.
Magic Kingdom’s Return Set for August
Starting Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Magic Kingdom will once again open its gates for extended evening hours. While additional August dates haven’t been shared yet, the return marks a welcome comeback for fans of Magic Kingdom’s nighttime atmosphere.

Who Can Access These After-Hours Events?
Extended evening hours are an exclusive benefit for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and select other accommodations within the Walt Disney World Resort area.
In addition to these late-night perks, all on-property hotel guests can take advantage of early theme park entry, gaining access 30 minutes before official park opening at all four Walt Disney World theme parks every day.
