Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square Riverboat will close permanently in July, but before it does, it will open an extra hour early.
According to a sign positioned near the boat launch and the Walt Disney World website, the Liberty Belle will now open at 10:00 a.m. instead of 11:00 a.m. Its hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. until July 6, when it will close permanently.
These attractions will close to make room for a “Cars” expansion to Frontierland: The Liberty Belle, Rivers of America, and Tom Sawyer Island. Construction won’t begin until a few weeks later. Demolition permits were approved earlier in 2025.
