According to the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app, Astro Orbiter in the Magic Kingdom has reopened!

Closed since January 13, 2025, the Tomorrowland ride has been undergoing refurbishment. It was completely dismantled for off-site maintenance and then reconstructed. The ride has been undergoing testing for the past few weeks; however, Disney never officially announced a reopening date.

Although according to the Walt Disney website, the ride is still closed, but both the Astro Orbiter webpage and the My Disney Experience app list operating hours today (June 27, 2025) from park open to close, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Shortly after opening it showed a 20-minute standby wait.

It appears there have been no major changes to the ride’s theming or experience.
