The much-anticipated countdown to Christmas at the Magic Kingdom has officially begun! And with that, Disney has released the dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
So sit back and relax as we share all the details to help you plan for this year’s joyful celebration!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event held at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Festive entertainment, overlays on classic rides, a storybook holiday, and sweet treats will be on hand for all to enjoy!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will run on select nights beginning Friday, November 7, through Sunday, December 21. Guests can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m., even though the party doesn’t get underway until 7:00 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale on July 16 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. For all other guests, tickets will be available starting July 22.
Discounts are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the Disney Reservation Center at 407-934-7639.
Your favorite Disney pals will be on hand at the Christmas party for magical meet-and-greet opportunities. Here are just a few of the characters you will be able to find:
- Anna and Elsa in their Christmas attire
- Sally and Santa Jack
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their finest holiday looks
In addition, you will be sure to be captivated by Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade. The mesmerizing performance features dancing gingerbread men, ballroom dancers, marching toy soldiers, along with music and scents guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit. Keep your eyes peeled for Santa Claus as he spreads yuletide cheer across the Magic Kingdom.
If you’re looking for some bang in the festivities, be sure to check out Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks hosted by Minnie Mouse herself. This nighttime spectacular combines beloved holiday classics — such as “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” — with stunning pyrotechnics, castle projections, and lighting effects.
Once again, you will have the option of enjoying the fireworks from the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant with the return of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party. This separately-priced experience includes an abundance of treats that will sweeten your night and provide incredible views of the fireworks.
Disney characters like Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody will take the stage at Cinderella Castle, reminding us why it’s the happiest season of all during Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.
Also at Cinderella Castle, ring in the holiday season with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowglobes during the Frozen Holiday Surprise.
Once again, a variety of cookies, hot cocoa, and more will be handed out to guests at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom. These sweet treats are included in the cost of your party tickets.
