A Thematic Tribute to Disney Parks’ Original Pirates
This lounge pays homage to the cherished Disney Parks attractions globally, featuring a unique and inviting atmosphere. Its decor includes a variety of “acquired” furnishings and antiques, likely gathered during the adventures of pirates.
The design incorporates a range of nautical elements, such as treasure maps, fishing nets, barrel stools, rum bottles, and skull-and-crossbones symbols. The venue’s interior is adorned with wooden planks, reminiscent of an aged ship, and a collection of hidden details that pay tribute to both the popular film series and the legendary stories of the original attractions.
The wooden carvings around the portholes exhibit a charred appearance, mirroring the burning village scene found in the attraction and the unique lanterns that echo the original Disneyland Paris experience.
A collection of 13 drawers filled with treasure maps is on display, each marked with scenes that highlight various global parks and attractions, such as The Ghostly Grotto, Port Royale, Talking Skull Bay, Blue Bayou, and Treasure Cove. Additionally, the bar front constructed from stacked treasure chests pays homage to the treasure rooms and Captain’s Quarters depicted in the films.
