In line with the original movie, the Muses act as the narrators of the story, showcasing their vibrant personalities and exceptional vocal talents throughout the performance. The elaborate costumes reflect the grandeur of the gods from Mount Olympus, creating a striking contrast with the simpler, more modest outfits worn by the human characters and creatures from Earth.
The Music of Hercules, Reimagined
This production showcases a reimagined soundtrack from the beloved film, featuring contemporary interpretations of classic tracks such as “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love.” The new musical arrangements blend the essence of gospel music with the vibrant energy typical of a pop concert.
Alongside the original movie songs, “Disney Hercules” introduces “Shooting Star,” a touching ballad that was originally crafted for the film by Alan Menken and David Zippel.
