Starting today, Aug 19, Walt Disney World has a new limit on how far out you can book your room-only reservation at a Walt Disney World resort. The change has lessened the window from 499 days out to only as far out as the current annual release dates.
What does this mean to you? In the past, you could book a room-only reservation up to 499 days in the future, regardless of whether Walt Disney World had released the upcoming booking window. For example, as of today, you can book up through Dec 31, 2023, because that’s as far out as Disney has released its annual release dates. You will not be able to book past that date until Disney releases its next annual release dates, most likely in spring 2023.
