Five Best Drinks I’ve Had In Disney World

In my many trips to Disney World, I’ve had the chance to try dozens of cocktails across all four of the parks and Disney Springs. As a “Disney Adult”, I don’t go to Walt Disney World for the rides. Yes, I love the rides and the atmosphere. But what keeps me coming back is the food and drinks.

Though there are endless choices for delicious cocktails across Walt Disney World, I’ve narrowed down these favorites as the best drinks I’ve had. These drinks are the ones I will order time and time again – and even plan my visit around when they’re available (for those seasonal drinks). On your next visit to Disney, give one of these best drinks in Disney World a try.

S’mores Martini – Animal Kingdom, Nomad Lounge Bar

The S’mores Martini is the first dessert cocktail I ever tried – and it changed my life. Available at Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom, you really can’t beat it. It may not be the most alcohol-focused drink ever, but it’s a treat. This drink is a seasonal special that may only be offered during the winter months, so you won’t find it listed on Disney’s official menu.

I first tried this during my visit in February and returned to it every day of my trip. I would recommend looking for if you’re visiting between December and February. The chocolate drizzle and the massive marshmallow on top just seal the deal on this fun cocktail.

Creepy Mudslide – Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Another seasonal cocktail: the Creepy Mudslide in Disney Springs. Yes, it’s worth going around Halloween just to get this drink. All of the seasonal cocktails I’ve ever tried at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar are amazing, but this one is most memorable. It’s almost like an alcoholic chocolate milk with a fun gummy worm on top. Not only is this drink aesthetically pleasing, but it goes down so easily.

The Oreo cookie crumble rim completes the experience. I will look for this drink during every fall visit to Disney World for the rest of my life. Although it may seem disgustingly sweet, this drink is not too sweet.

Espresso Martini – Disney Springs, Homecomin’

Everyone’s always talking about the brunch food at Homecomin’, which is exceptional, but it’s not recognized for its drinks enough. Here, you can order one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had in all of Disney. Their Moonshine punch is my second favorite here, but I will always stop here for the espresso martini. Unlike other espresso martinis that are too heavy on the cream, this one is strong and espresso-focused. If you like a hefty coffee flavor (and not too creamy) espresso martini, you’ve got to try the one at Homecomin’.

Razzle Dazzle- Disney Springs, Wolfgang Puck Bar

I walked by the Wolfgang Puck Bar in Disney Springs dozens of times before finally giving it a try. As it turns out, I was missing out on one of the best drinks in Disney World. The “Razzle Dazzle” sounds a bit odd, but trust me when I say it’s better than it sounds. Made with pink gin, guava puree, and egg whites, this drink has a unique flavor that is almost hard to describe. The presentation is also amazing. I don’t typically like drinks made with gin, but this one changed my mind. The egg whites give it a foam on top that almost reminds me of cold foam on a coffee.

Avocado Margarita – Epcot, La Cava Del Tequila

The Avocado Margarita is by far the best drink in all of Disney World (and one I have yet to find anywhere else). This unique drink often has people saying “why?” before they’ve tried it. Yes, avocado in a drink sounds questionable, but it’s so perfect. This drink has a refreshing, light hint of sweetness mixed with the creaminess of blended avocado. Usually, I’m not a fan of margaritas, but this one is quite different. The drink comes with a salt rim, but I usually request it with no salt rim, per my preference.

You can find the Avocado Margarita in Epcot in the Mexico Pavilion. Once in Mexico, head inside the structure on your left and go to La Cava Del Tequila on your right-hand side. Drinks can be ordered to-go or enjoyed inside the lounge.
