Blizzard Beach Water Park Reopens

As with all other Disney Parks, guests of Blizzard Beach will have to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols which include physical distancing, areas where masks must be worn, some attraction-specific rules, plus a lot of signage reminding guests of the new policy and procedures.

There are certain things that guests of the Disney Water Parks will have to get used to, but it’s great to see another Disney Park open to guests. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach did not reopen after WDW’s COVID-19 shutdown and subsequent theme park reopening in the summer of 2020.

Park Hopper Plus Available

Disney has offered Park Hopper tickets since January, but it is only with the reopening of Blizzard Beach that Disney is once again selling Park Hopper Plus tickets, which allow guests to hop between the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, and in addition, allow a visit to Blizzard Beach or an additional experience such as a Disney golf course (Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course or Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf).

The number of visits to a water park or golf course depends on the number of days on the ticket – one visit to a theme park provides one visit to the water park and golf course.  For example,

How many visits you get to a water park or other experience depends on the length of the ticket you buy. A 1-day ticket allows one visit, a 3-day ticket allows three visits, and so on.
