Disney CEO Bob Iger recently disclosed in a CNBC interview before The Walt Disney Company’s Q1 2024 earnings call that a sequel to the popular film “Moana” is in the works. The upcoming feature-length film, tentatively titled “Moana 2,” is set to debut in theaters later this year.
This announcement marks a significant shift from previous plans, as there had been talks of developing a “Moana” television series. However, those plans have been redirected towards creating a full-length sequel for fans to anticipate. It is scheduled for release on November 27, 2024.
