Disney technologists have always been diligent about creating tools guests can use to aid in their planning at Disney. First, there was the My Disney Experience app and most recently MagicBand+ was released.
But what about Disney Cast Members? Have you ever wondered if technology is available specifically for Cast Members? This answer is – yes!
Disney’s Technology and Digital team has designed and developed The Disney Cast Life app exclusively for Cast Members. The app gives cast an easier way to access information on the go. The mobile app recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.
With a simple touch to open the app, Cast Members can access their schedules, paystubs, company news, and more.
Creating the Disney Cast Life app involved more than 100 team members. The goal of the app was to create a one-stop shop where Cast Members could access resources right from their phones.
Cast Members have had an overwhelmingly positive response to the app! They can use the app at home, in a park, or anywhere in between to connect themselves with the information they need.
Technologists are beginning to test new features to enhance connectivity for Cast Members. The Disney Cast Life app is just the beginning.
