At last, the day so many guests have been awaiting: Pin trading with cast members has returned to Walt Disney World!
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran pin trader, or just embarking on your own pin collection journey, we’re happy to share some tips from cast members on what to look for and how to get started.
Limited-Time Cast Pins
Did you know that there are pins that are exclusive for cast members trading that are available for a limited time? Keep your eyes peeled for exclusives like Hidden Disney pin sets when trading across Walt Disney World. Each set contains five standard and uniquely-themed designs.
Mystery Pouch
You will want to launch a search for a retail mystery pouch, coming later in 2024, containing the original five pins plus a sixth pin in each set. The sixth pin is commonly known as the “chaser” pin. For an even bigger challenge, within the retail mystery pouch, there will be a “super chaser” pin in one particular set. The “super chaser” pin is a rare find, so you must have eagle eyes to spot it.
Make A Friend
Cast members love pin trading so don’t be afraid to approach them and ask to see their pins. They love talking pins with the guests. So whether you are a newbie to pin trading, or already an avid trader, by all means approach the cast members! You can ask how you can join in the fun with Disney Pin Trading, or tell them about your favorite pin and let them share a story about theirs, too!
