In an exciting development for Disney fans, the beloved parking trams are preparing to return to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios this September. The news has been eagerly anticipated by visitors who have missed the convenience of this service for over two years.
The official announcement came from Disney Parks through its official social media channel on X (formerly known as Twitter), confirming the highly anticipated news.
Tram Services’ Journey Amidst the Pandemic
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, tram services were suspended across all Walt Disney World Parks, including EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The closure aimed to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. While Disney gradually lifted various safety measures, such as distancing requirements and mask mandates, the return of parking trams remained uncertain.
Trams Return to Complete the Disney Experience
With the gradual return of services across the Disney parks, Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom had already reinstated their parking tram services in December 2021 and May 2022, respectively. Now, the reintroduction of parking trams at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios signifies a significant step towards restoring the complete Disney park experience for visitors.
