Four years in the making, Harmonious will debut tonight at EPCOT as part of the kickoff celebrations for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Disney released a preview of the Harmonious soundtrack in mid-August, and the music was stunning. The soundtrack was the result of work by hundreds of people from around the globe. Much of that work was coordinated by Yaron, the Senior Music Producer for the show.
Yaron brought together the musical styles and performers to create Disney music through a world lens, and share a message of hope and inspiration. The show ends with the famous Disney song Someday from the Hunchback of Notre Dame – a message of how the world can be a better place. It seems like a great way to cap off a day at EPCOT.
