The Disney Destiny is scheduled for its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 20, 2025. We are excited to share dates and details about the ship’s first voyage and inaugural itineraries so that you can begin planning your vacation!
The inaugural voyage will be a special four-night cruise offering the first opportunity to experience all that this ship has to offer. It will also include stops at Disney Cruise Line’s two island destinations in The Bahamas — Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
The inaugural season will boast four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day of fun to either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! Select cruises will bring more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. Bookings will open to the general public on September 12, 2024.
Aboard the Disney Destiny, you will join the “Pirates of the Caribbean” ranks at Cask and Cannon, a new pub inspired by the beloved Disney Parks attractions worldwide! This electric, yet cozy lounge furnished with treasures “acquired” (AKA pillaged and pilfered) will be a great place to swap tales of high-seas adventures with fellow buccaneers.
An extensive menu of rare, specialty, and vintage rums will be offered at Cask and Cannon, impressing even the most seasoned swashbucklers. There will also be a not-so-secret selection of “bootlegged” brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style.
Rumor has it that the savviest treasure hunters might uncover a mysterious trove of looted libations, served in an actual treasure chest!
In addition to Cask and Cannon, many other brand-new experiences await aboard the new heroes and villains-inspired ship! Debuting on board:
- Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind dining experience celebrating the music of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Lion King.”
- “Disney Hercules,” an all-new, Broadway-style show retelling the popular Disney Animation film.
- De Vil’s, a wickedly chic piano lounge celebrating the one and only Cruella de Vil.
- Edna A La Mode Sweets, a one-of-a-kind confectionary inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ “The Incredibles.”
- The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel’s Doctor Strange.
- Plus, hero-worthy staterooms and suites, featuring custom artwork of some of the most epic Disney stories, a new villain-packed storyline aboard the AquaMouse water attraction; and iconic tributes to legendary Marvel Super Heroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Iron Man!
Let the planning begin! Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Destiny cruise as early as September 6, 2024, with bookings to the general public beginning on September 12, 2024.
