In previous years, Destination D23 2025 has had a Disney D23 Parks panel dedicated to new announcements. This year, there will be a panel just about Disney Villains, which could offer a teaser for some news on the upcoming Villains Land at Magic Kingdom.
Typically, Destination D23 at Walt Disney World and D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in California feature a Disney Parks showcase, during which Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, announces new attractions, lands, and other projects in development for parks around the world. In the past, this panel has been used to announce the Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom and the Tropical Americas expansion to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Although anticipation is high for several new and rumored projects, no Disney Parks showcase or D23 Parks panel is listed on the 2025 Destination D23 schedule.
However, there will be a panel discussion about Disney Villains experiences around the world, possibly announcing details of the upcoming Disney Villains land at Magic Kingdom. Here is the description for the panel, named Disney Villains: Icons of Evil.
Join Disney Experiences (and some of your favorite troublemakers) for a panel discussion on how Disney Villains experiences come to life around the world. Hear directly from the creative minds behind new projects and attractions, plus enjoy a special Villains-themed medley to kick off Destination D23 day two.
The Disney Villains panel will take place at 9:05 a.m. on Sunday, August 31. You can read the full list of times and added descriptions for each panel in the Destination D23 article.
