We are halfway to the holidays, and Disney has announced a blizzard of Christmas offerings across Walt Disney World for 2022:
Magic Kingdom
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party will return to the Magic Kingdom.
- Space Mountain will become “Space Mountain – Holiday Run” with Christmas lights and music.
- Tomorrowland Speedway will turn into the “Race Through the Holiday” with Christmas decorations.
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor will feature Christmas fun.
- The Mad Tea Party will sport Christmas lighting.
- The Jungle Cruise will become the Jingle Cruise.
EPCOT
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will get new holiday music.
- The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will once again feature a cookie stroll scavenger hunt.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The Merry Menagerie will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
All Parks
- Theme park icons will continue as 50th anniversary Beacons of Magic, but also receive special Christmastime projections.
- Santa Claus will be in all four Walt Disney World theme parks. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, he will appear in a motorcade.
Disney Resort Hotels
- Gingerbread displays will return to some Disney Resort Hotels, but we don’t yet know which ones.
Disney Springs
- Disney Springs will present the Christmas Tree Stroll, and snow will fall in the Town Center section of the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex.
- Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will transform into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar and will offer holiday-inspired food and cocktails.
