Disney Parks announced that EPCOT’s Test Track will close temporarily this summer to undergo reimagining.
The closure will begin on June 17, 2024, to prepare for updates. New concept art in this article header shows a sleek new entrance illuminated by purple lighting. Disney will install a new “Test Track Presented by Chevrolet” sign in front of the building.
The reimagined version of the ride was announced in 2023. The project will draw inspiration from World of Motion, which Test Track replaced. This interior ride concept art was released by Disney last year:

The World of Motion “spirit of optimism” will be brought by Imagineers “to the next iteration” of Test Track. The last major update to Test Track was in 2012, and the timing suggests that this reimagining is due to Chevrolet renewing its sponsorship contract.
Currently, Test Track sees guests create a virtual concept car in the Chevrolet Design Center before buckling into a 6-passenger “Sim Car” to put their designs to the test.
At this time, a completion date for the project has not been released.
Excited for a reimagined Test Track attraction?
