“Fantasmic!” Returns!
This week more than 5,000 Disney’s Hollywood Studios cast members and their loved ones filled the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater to welcome the long-awaited return of “Fantasmic!”, one of the longest-running shows at Walt Disney World Resort. The show returned to its home at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater bringing energy, emotion, and entertainment.
“Fantasmic!” depicts a legendary journey through Mickey’s imagination and returns with spectacular lights, dancing waters, and the pyro-filled mountaintop finale we have all come to love. New scenes featuring Pocahontas, Mulan, Elsa, Aladdin, and Moana were greeted with thunderous applause as they made their debut. The performance concluded with a standing ovation.
Cast members were excited about the energy – obviously, everyone missed the show. It has been more than two years since “Fantasmic!” entertained us with great delight. The cast member preview event was described as a dream come true.
Following another night of Disney Cast Life previews for Walt Disney World cast members, the show officially reopens to guests on November 3rd at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
