Disney Cruise Line Returning to In-Person Assembly Drills

In-person drills are back!

As Disney Cruise Line continues to relax some of its last remaining pandemic regulations, the cruise line announced earlier this month that guests will no longer be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (regardless of vaccination status) prior to sailing.

Now Disney Cruise line has recently informed travel agents that based on a review of their processes, “all Guests will be required to report to their assigned assembly station in person at the scheduled time on the day they embark.”

In-person assembly drills will begin with the following sailings:

  • Monday, November 14 – Disney Wish
  • Wednesday, November 16 – Disney Wonder
  • Sunday, November 20 – Disney Magic

The Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy both conducted in-person assembly drills this past Saturday. To find the assigned assembly station, guests should check the DCL Navigator App.

By reinstating the in-person assembly drills, Disney Cruise Line wants to ensure that all Crew Members and Guests are fully aware of safety procedures in the event of an emergency. Guests will be notified by the DCL Navigator App of their assigned assembly station and will also be provided directions for getting to their location.

Glad that Disney Cruise Lines is reinstating in-person assembly drills?
