Disney Cruise Line Returns to Picture-Perfect Tropical Destinations in Early 2024

Disney Cruise Line has announced travel itineraries for 2024 to fabulous destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Bahamas and of course Disney’s private island – Castaway Cay.

So pack your bags and your shades and prepare to shed the winter blues by embarking on a magical vacation at sea in 2024!

In addition to two ports in sunny Florida, voyages will depart from Texas, Louisiana, and California.

Sun-Drenched Getaways from South Florida

The Disney Dream will kick 2024 off with a number of three- and four-night getaways to the Bahamas, along with five-night vacations to the western Caribbean. Disney Cruise Line experiences feature Broadway-style shows, innovative dining, character encounters, and fireworks at sea.

Cruises sailing from Florida will include a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s picturesque private island, exclusive to Disney Cruise Line guests. Castaway Cay is located in the blue-green waters of the Bahamas and provides the ultimate escape with something for the whole family. You may choose to enjoy an adventure or just relax and spend quality time with the family.

Tropical Vacations from Central Florida 

The Disney Wish will start off 2024 by offering three- and four-night voyages to Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay, all departing from Port Canaveral, Florida, Disney Cruise Line’s home part located just an hour from Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. The Disney Wish cruises offer enchanting entertainment and a number of Disney firsts, bringing to life Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars stories from around the vessel.

The Disney Fantasy will also depart from Port Canaveral and will boast seven-night sailings to the white-sand beaches of the eastern and western Caribbean. Western Caribbean itineraries will feature the ports of Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth, Jamaica, while the Eastern Caribbean voyages will visit Tortola and St. Thomas. All of the Disney Fantasy sailings include a stop at Castaway Cay, in addition to several days at sea, providing your family more time to enjoy all the fun and relaxation offered on board.

Caribbean Adventures from Texas and Louisiana

In early 2024 the Disney Magic will have two limited-time engagements to Galveston. After celebrating the New Year from the Lonestar State, the ship will embark on a variety of Caribbean adventures ranging from four to six nights through the end of January 2024. The ship will return for another month-long stint between March and April, sailing with cruises ranging from four to seven nights to the Western Caribbean during the popular spring break period.

For a second consecutive year in February 2024, the Disney Magic will return to New Orleans and offer four-, five- and seven-night cruises to the Caribbean. You may plan to extend your vacation before or after your cruise in The Big Easy, the city that inspired Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog.”

Mexican Escapes from California

The Disney Wonder will arrive in San Diego, California in March 2024, following its inaugural season in Australia and New Zealand. The Wonder will offer three- to seven-night voyages to Mexico, including the Baja peninsula. Your family can visit some of Mexico’s most sought-after destinations, including Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Ensenada, along with stops to the shores of Catalina Island off the California coast.
