Disney Cruise Line’s newest destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, will open this summer. In anticipation of the vibrant island destination’s opening, Disney Cruise Line has announced some Bahamian-inspired merchandise.


Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will be filled with bright hues and festive patterns of Junkanoo, a longstanding Bahamian tradition filled with colorful parades. You’ll look and feel like an island native sporting the spirit jersey, designer Loungefly backpack, and colorful ear headband.

You will surely want to take home one or both of these adorable Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plush dressed in designer tropical looks for Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The new looks feature a Bahamian twist on Minnie Mouse’s iconic polka dots and conch shell-patterned shorts on Mickey Mouse. These cute and cuddly friends are luggage-friendly sized and exclusive to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The artist who is behind Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse’s new looks is none other than acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett, who also has created a uniquely Bahamian clothing line. The vibrant ear headband is filled with bright colors, patterns, and straw, often seen in local art.
Disney Cruise Line will partner with a variety of Bahamian artists at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point through the island’s architecture, decor, and merchandise. Theodore’s artist spotlight collection will include both men’s and women’s apparel.
