At the 2023 Destination D23 event, Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Josh D’Amaro announced that the Disney Cruise Line’s Newest Ship Will Be Called The Disney Adventure.
The Disney Adventure will be the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The ship is under construction in Germany. It’ll be the first Disney ship to sail from Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia and feature the Disney service, storytelling, and entertainment everyone knows and loves.
The Disney Adventure was formerly known as the Global Dream, an unfinished ship that Disney purchased during the pandemic for pennies on the dollar.
